Remembering 11 September 2001

Let us be still and think of all who lost their lives ten years ago, and all who were bereaved. We remember all those who faced difficult decisions as a consequence of those incidents and of those who continue to strive for international understanding, reconciliation and peace.

May we all be secure in our knowledge of self that we are able to accept difference, understand each other better, recognise all that we share in common and be reconciled to one another. May lessons of that tragic day be learnt so that our world becomes a more united and peaceable community.
