Voting age reform

On 17 April 1969 theĀ age of majority (the age when people can vote) was reduced to 18 from 21 in the UK, the first change since 1928. Subsequently the age of candidacy has reduced to 18.

Remember all who stand for public office, who are our elected representatives and who participate in elections that we may governed wisely and with honesty, fairness and a commitment to social justice.
